No.2 KCC women crush Ellsworth

Kortney Drake popped in five 3-pointers Wednesday night to help the Kirkwood women's basketball team defeat Ellsworth, 94-41, in an ICCAC contest at Johnson Hall.

Drake finished with a game-high 17 points as the second-ranked Eagles raised their records to 8-0 overall and 8-0 in the league.

Tasia Jordan finished with 13 points, six rebounds, and three steals for Kirkwood. Karsyn Stratton also scored 13 points, hitting 6-of-8 shots from the field.

Kemara Watson scored 12 points and blocked three shots. Tatiana Hodges-Johnson netted 10 points. Ashley Tull grabbed 11 rebounds and dished out four assists.

Autumn Shull scored 12 points for Ellsworth (1-7).
