Kortney Drake named ICCAC Athlete of the Week: March 15-21

Kirkwood rolled through their competition last week with sophomore guard Kortney Drake leading the way for the Eagles offensively. Kirkwood outscored opponents 180-86 in two games. Drake, while only averaging 21 minutes per game, was still able to score 18 points on average and grab three steals per game. She had a season-high 21 points in Kirkwood's win over Southwestern. She connected on seven of 13 three-pointers. To this point in the year, she is No. 2 in the ICCAC in three-point shooting at 47.5%.
