No.1 Eagles sink Lakers

The Kirkwood women's basketball team kept rolling along Saturday.

The top-ranked Eagles raised their record to 13-0 with a 68-37 conquest of Iowa Lakes in an ICCAC game at Johnson Hall.

Karsyn Stratton led Kirkwood with 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Kortney Drake hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points.

Ashley Tull grabbed nine rebounds and made five steals. Kemara Watson and Maddie Paulsen had eight rebounds.

The Eagles outscored Iowa Lakes, 15-1, in the fourth quarter.

Jaeda Whitner scored 17 points for the Lakers (6-8).
