Stoffer shines as Eagles top Marshalltown
Caden Stoffer sparkled on the mound Wednesday as the seventh-ranked Kirkwood Eagles defeated Marshalltown, 10-4, at the Kirkwood field.
Stoffer (3-1) struck out 12 batters in five innings and allowed only one hit.
Chase Moseley drove in three runs for Kirkwood (35-15, 19-11). Parker Shupe went 2-for-2 with two runs and two RBIs. Trenton Burkhalter was 2-for-3 with two RBIs.
