NO.15 EAGLES TRIM DMACC
The 15th-ranked Kirkwood baseball team edged DMACC, 10-9, in an ICCAC game at Kirkwood Monday.
Kirkwood won the series 2-1, raising its records to 16-8 overall and 3-2 in the league.
Alex Ritzer went 3-for-5 in the leadoff spot. Trenton Burkhalter was 2-for-4 with three RBIs, a double, and a triple.
Joe Simpson drove in two runs. Cael Frost and Sam Wilt had two hits. Miles Risley and Owen Ross scored twice.
Jake Pemble (1-0) picked up the win in relief, with five strikeouts in 3.1 innings. Nic Scanlon collected his seventh save.
