#10 Eagles Secure Win Over Spartans

Creston, IA: The Kirkwood Eagles defeated the Southwestern Spartans 69-54 on Wednesday evening. The Eagles established an early lead and maintained it throughout the game, going into halftime ahead 33-22.

Tate Haughenbury was the top scorer for Kirkwood with 14 points, closely followed by Colby Dolphin who added 12 points. The Eagles also excelled in rebounds, outdoing the Spartans 33 to 18, a factor that contributed significantly to their victory.

This win is a positive step for the Eagles in the ICCAC. They are set to play again at home on Saturday, January 27th, against the Iowa Central Tritons, marking another key matchup in the ICCAC.
