#10 Eagles Soar Past Tritons

Cedar Rapids, IA - The #10 ranked Kirkwood Eagles defeated the Iowa Central Tritons 63-49 at home on Saturday, January 27th. The Eagles led the game from the beginning, establishing a 24-14 lead by halftime and extending their advantage to a maximum of 22 points.

Kirkwood's bench played a key role in the victory, contributing 35 points compared to Iowa Central's 22. The Eagles also out-rebounded the Tritons, grabbing 40 rebounds to their 30, aiding their control over the game.

Tate Haughenbury was the top scorer for the Eagles with 11 points, followed by Traijan Sain who added 10 points. 

The team now prepares for a quick turnaround, as they travel to Fort Dodge on Monday for a rematch with the Tritons. This game is a make-up for a previously postponed match due to weather.
