NO.1 EAGLES BUMP OFF NORTHEAST
Tasia Jordan scored 22 points and grabbed nine rebounds Saturday afternoon as the top-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team topped Northeast, 70-56, in the ICCAC conference opener at Johnson Hall.
Jordan, who leads the Eagles in scoring and rebounding, hit 10 of 16 shots from the field. She also collected three steals, two assists and one blocked shot.
Jada Devine pitched in 10 points for Kirkwood.
Northeast (6-4, 0-1) tossed in 13 3-pointers.
Kirkwood raised its records to 7-0 overall and 1-0 in the league.
