NO.3 KIRKWOOD WOMEN TOP JOHN WOOD
QUINCY, Ill. - The third-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team bounced back from its only loss of the season with a 77-50 verdict at John Wood College Saturday.
Freshman Kaylee Corbin poured in a career-high 23 points in 22 minutes off the bench to lead the Eagles (14-1). Tasia Jordan scored 14 points, Alycia Patterson had 11 and Makayla Mau notched 10 points. Korbin had a team-high six rebounds.Kirkwood used an 18-0 run in the first half to take command.
The Eagles will get back to ICCAC play on Wednesday, as they host the Panthers of Ellsworth - Johnson Hall, 5:30 pm.
