NO.3 KIRKWOOD WOMEN BOP ELLSWORTH
The third-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team drubbed Ellsworth, 104-36, in an ICCAC mismatch at Johnson Hall Wednesday night.
The Eagles raised their records to 15-1 overall and 5-0 in the conference.
Tasia Jordan led six Eagles in double figures with 19 points and 12 rebounds. Demetria Prewitt made 6 of 7 shots and scored 13 points. Emily Dreckman contributed 12 points. Nilah Coleman and Zhakyla Evans added 11 points and Jada Devine had 10.
Shamika Maria scored 12 points for Ellsworth (4-12, 1-5).
The Eagles will travel to Mason City on Saturday for another ICCAC match-up vs. NIACC at 1pm.
