PATTERSON LIFTS NO.3 KIRKWOOD WOMEN

Alycia Patterson popped in eight 3-pointers Saturday as the fourth-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team defeated NIAC, 69-41, at Johnson Hall.

Patterson finished 8-for-9 from long distance and finished with 24 points in 24 minutes off the bench.

Tasia Jordan contributed 10 points, eight rebounds, and eight assists for the Eagles (20-2, 10-1). Demetria Prewitt also scored 10 points.

Kirkwood Coach Kim Muhl collected the 998th victory of his 34-year career at Kirkwood and was inducted into the Kirkwood Hall of Fame Saturday.

Jackie Pippett scored 11 points for NIACC (13-9, 5-5).
