ELDRIDGE LEADS NO.1 EAGLES IN CHICAGO
CHICAGO - Dante Eldridge stole the show Saturday as the top-ranked Kirkwood Eagles defeated Olive Harvey Community College, 83-69, in Chicago.
Eldridge finished with 21 points, nine assists and five rebounds for the Eagles (2-0). He shot 7-for-9 from the field and went 7-for-8 at the foul line.
Jaleque Dunson made three 3-pointers and scored 17 points for Kirkwood. Blake Brinkmeyer finished with 12 points and five rebounds. DaChaun Anderson grabbed 11 rebounds.
Kirkwood hosts 11th-ranked John Wood College Tuesday at 6 p.m.
