NO.15 EAGLES TOP NO.20 NIACC
Blake Brinkmeyer stole the show Thursday night as the 15th-ranked Kirkwood Eagles topped 20th-ranked NIACC, 81-60, in an ICCAC conference game at Johnson Hall.
Brinkmeyer collected 23 points, 13 rebounds, and three blocked shots off the bench. He also had three thunderous dunks in the ballgame.
Caleb Delzell contributed 14 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Dante Eldridge finished with 12 points. DaChaun Anderson snared 13 rebounds, helping Kirkwood finish with a commanding 52-27 bulge in rebounding.
Kirkwood raised its records to 14-6 overall and 6-2 in the conference. The Eagles host Iowa Western Saturday at 4 p.m. in a showdown for first place.
