NO.14 EAGLES ROLL BY NIACC
MASON CITY - The 14th-ranked Kirkwood Eagles scorched the nets and trounced NIACC, 95-65, in an ICCAC conference game in Mason City Sunday.
Kirkwood shot 62.5 percent from the field and nailed 16 of 27 3-pointers for 59.3 percent in the impressive 30-point victory.
Blake Brinkmeyer and Jaleque Dunson led six Eagles into double figures with 15 points apiece. Dunson shot 5-for-6 on 3-pointers.
Caleb Delzell went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc and finished with 13 points. Justi Recker netted 11 points. Dre Anderson and Arthur Cox chipped in with 10 points apiece.
Kirkwood raised its records to 10-5 overall and 2-2 in the conference. NIACC fell to 10-4 overall and 1-2 in the league.
