NO.13 KCC MEN EYE ICCAC SHOWDOWN
The Kirkwood men's basketball team won its 20th game of the season Saturday with an 88-66 conquest of Northeast Community College at Johnson Hall.
The 13th-ranked Eagles are heading into a showdown for the conference title Wednesday night against DMACC in Boone in the final game of the regular season.
DaChaun Anderson led Kirkwood with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Arthur Cox also scored 17 points and snared six rebounds. Blake Brinkmeyer contributed 15 points and nine rebounds. Caleb Delzell had 12 points.
Emaniel Alexandre and Jared Lopez scored 18 points apiece for Northeast (4-21, 0-14).
Kirkwood raised its records to 20-7 overall and 12-3 in the league.
