NO.15 EAGLES KNOCK OFF ELLSWORTH
IOWA FALLS - Caleb Delzell led a balanced attack with 14 points Tuesday night as the 15th-ranked Kirkwood Eagles clipped Ellsworth, 72-65, in an ICCAC game in Iowa Falls.
DaChaun Anderson contributed 11 rebounds for Kirkwood. Dante Eldridge and Cassius Brooks scored 10 points apiece.
Kirkwood raised its records to 13-6 overall and 5-2 in the conference. The Eagles are locked in a tight battle for the ICCAC lead with Iowa Western (4-1), Iowa Lakes (4-2) and DMACC (4-2).
Kirkwood hosts NIACC Thursday night and entertains Iowa Western on Saturday.
Ellsworth fell to 13-8 overall and 4-4 in the league.
