NO.1 EAGLES STROLL BY MARSHALLTOWN
The top-ranked Kirkwood Eagles made it look easy Wednesday night and whipped Marshalltown by 82 points, 116-34, in an ICCAC conference game at Johnson Hall.
Tasia Jordan led seven Eagles into double figures with 15 points. Kortney Drake hit four 3-pointers and scored 14 points. Alycia Patterson contributed 13 points with three triples.
Karsyn Stratton, Jada Devine and Ashley Tull netted 12 points apiece for the Eagles (8-0). Naya Hayman finished with 10 points.
Kirkwood led, 58-17, at halftime.
Katharina Berg made three 3-pointers and scored nine points for Marshalltown (1-8).
Kirkwood improved to 8-0 overall and 1-0 conference. The Eagles return to action this Sunday at noon, as they travel to Council Bluffs to face No.10 Iowa Western.
