NO.1 KCC WOMEN FINISH 20-0 IN ICCAC
BOONE - The top-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team breezed to a 77-30 victory over DMACC Wednesday night and finished the ICCAC campaign with a perfect 20-0 record.
DMACC did not score a single point in the entire second quarter. The Eagles outscored the Bears in that frame, 22-0, and led 40-9 at halftime.
Tati Hodges-Johnson scored 22 points and grabbed seven rebounds for Kirkwood. Alycia Patterson and Kortney Drake scored 11 points apiece. Tasia Jordan chipped in 10 points.
Kirkwood (29-1) will host DMACC or Southwestern in the regional quarterfinals on Wednesday, March 2 at 5:30. Kirkwood would host all of its games in the regional tournament, including the semifinals on Saturday, March 5 and the finals on Sunday, March 6.
