NO.1 EAGLES RAISE MARK TO 11-0
CRESTON - The top-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team raised its record to 11-0 Saturday with a 78-55 victory over Southwestern in an ICCAC game at Creston.
The Eagles scored the first 18 points of the ballgame and led 49-19 at halftime.
Ashley Tull enjoyed a big game with 18 points, eight rebounds and seven blocked shots. Karsyn Stratton poured in 17 points for the Eagles.
Tasia Jordan netted 12 points. Kortney Drake had 10 points and six rebounds. Tatiana Hodges-Johnson contributed nine points and eight rebounds.
Kirkwood raised its ICCAC record to 4-0. They will be on the road this week, as they will travel to Mason City for another ICCAC game vs. NIACC at 5:30pm.
