DRAKE LEADS NO.1 EAGLES PAST SCC

Kortney Drake hit six 3-pointers and scored 20 points Tuesday night as the top-ranked Kirkwood Eagles sailed by Southeastern, 93-46, in an ICCAC game at Johnson Hall.
 
Drake nailed 6 of 8 triples and is shooting 48.2 percent on 3-pointers this season, which ranks fourth in NJCAA Division II women's basketball. She has committed to play at Northern Illinois.
 
The victory lifted Kirkwood to 25-1 overall and 16-0 in the conference. The Eagles can clinch at least a share of the title Thursday night when they host Ellsworth.
 
Tasia Jordan made 8 of 11 shots and scored 16 points for Kirkwood with six rebounds. Ashley Tull collected her ninth double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Drake had eight assists and six rebounds.
 
Southeastern fell to 12-13 overall and 7-8 in the conference.
