DRAKE LEADS NO.1 EAGLES BY DMACC
Kortney Drake tossed in five 3-pointers and scored 20 points Wednesday night as the top-ranked Kirkwood Eagles defeated DMACC, 71-46, in an ICCAC conference game at Johnson Hall.
Drake also collected six rebounds, three steals, two blocks and an assist.
Tasia Jordan supplied 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals in 22 minutes off the bench.
The game was tied, 21-21, early in the second quarter. Kirkwood promptly caught fire for a 13-0 surge and a 34-21 advantage, with Jordan scoring six points during the spurt.
Magan Christopherson scored 14 points for DMACC (8-4, 1-2).
Kirkwood raised its unblemished records to 10-0 overall and 3-0 in the league.
