NO.1 KCC WOMEN CLINCH LEAGUE TITLE
ESTHERVILLE - The top-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team captured the ICCAC regular-season title Saturday afternoon with a 72-41 victory over Iowa Lakes in Estherville.
The Eagles raised their ICCAC record to a perfect 18-0 with two games remaining. The Eagles are 27-1 overall for the campaign.
Kortney Drake and Ashley Tull, a pair of 2021 All-Americans, led Kirkwood with 16 points apiece. Drake hit four 3-pointers and contributed five assists, four rebounds, and three steals. Tull snared nine rebounds and blocked five shots.
Tasia Jordan finished with 13 points and eight rebounds. Karsyn Stratton chipped in with 10 points, five rebounds, and five assists. Tatiana Hodges-Johnson grabbed eight rebounds.
