NO.2 KCC WOMEN KNOCK OFF SOUTHWESTERN
The second-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team breezed to a 96-63 victory over Southwestern in an ICCAC game at Johnson Hall Wednesday night.
Ashley Tull led four Eagles into double figures with 18 points, nine rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one blocked shot in a strong all-around performance. Tatiana Hodges-Johnson collected a double-double with 16 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.
Dom Rodriguez popped in five 3-pointers and scored 17 points. Tasia Jordan finished with 10 points and seven rebounds.
Kirkwood raised its records to 16-1 overall and 7-0 in the league.
Alyssa Morris tossed in four 3-pointers and netted 24 points for Southwestern (2-14, 2-5).
