RODRIGUEZ LEADS NO.2 EAGLES IN ROMP
MARSHALLTOWN - Dom Rodriguez tossed in seven 3-pointers Saturday as the second-ranked Kirkwood Eagles crushed Marshalltown, 107-40, in an ICCAC women's basketball game in Marshalltown.
Rodriguez finished with 23 points to lead six Eagles in double figures. Ashley Tull scored 15 points, Karsyn Stratton 14, Tasia Jordan 13, Kortney Drake 11 and Jada Devine 10.
Kirkwood led 66-25 at halftime. The Eagles launched 95 shots in the 40-minute game and grabbed 60 rebounds.
The Eagles raised their records to 17-1 overall and 8-0 in the conference. Marshalltown fell to 4-13 overall and 1-6 in the league.
