NO.2 KCC WOMEN NEAR ICCAC CROWN
FORT DODGE - The second-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team took another big step toward the ICCAC title Saturday by clipping Iowa Central, 59-47, in Fort Dodge.
Kirkwood (15-0) leads Iowa Western (11-3) and Iowa Central (10-3) by three games in the loss column with five games remaining for the Eagles. Kirkwood hosts Southeastern Tuesday night.
Tasia Jordan led the Eagles with 15 points, seven rebounds, and three assists. Karsyn Stratton and Ashley Tull added 10 points apiece for the Eagles.
Kirkwood (24-1) led at halftime, 36-21.
