MULH NETS 400TH VICTORY AT JOHNSON HALL

The top-ranked Kirkwood women's basketball team collected a pair of milestones Thursday night with a 115-37 conquest of Ellsworth at Johnson Hall.

Coach Kim Muhl won for the 400th time on his home court, raising his record at Johnson Hall to a glittering 400-33 in 33 years as head coach.

The Eagles clinched at least a tie for the ICCAC regular-season title with a 17-0 league record with three games remaining. Kirkwood is 26-1 overall and riding a 13-game winning streak.

Kortney Drake popped in eight 3-pointers, just one shy of the school record, and topped the Eagles with 24 points. She finished 8 of 12 on 3-pointers.

Tatiana Hodges nailed 10 of 13 shots, including three triples, and scored a career-best 23 points. Dom Rodriguez made three 3-pointers and scored 17 points. Alycia Patterson had four 3-pointers and added
16 points.

Kirkwood set a school record with 20 3-pointers, hitting 20 of 35. The old record was 17 triples.  Up next for the Eagles is an ICCAC road trip to take on the Lakers of Iowa Lakes, Saturday at 1pm.
