#6 Kirkwood Overwhelms Madison at Home

Cedar Rapids, IA- Kirkwood strikes the century mark in a 100-66 victory in Johnson Hall over the Madison College Wolfpack. 

The Eagles had a hot start to the game hitting 9 three-pointers in the first half to finish with 13 threes for the game. They also found success getting to the free-throw line knocking down 23 free throws. Kirkwood won the rebound battle 40-27 led by Lucas Lueth with a career-high 10 rebounds. Kirkwood was dominant in bench points outscoring the Wolfpack 53-17 from the bench. 

Four Eagles ended in double-digit scoring. Kirkwood was led by Traijan Sain with 15 points and 5 assists, Richard Lindsey Jr went a perfect 5-5 from the field with 14 points, Tate Petersen went 4-8 from the 3 for 14 points with Colby Dolphin going 3-5 from the 3 and a perfect 4-4 from the charity stripe for 13 points. 

Kirkwood is on the road this weekend for two contests in Quincy, IL for the John Wood Classic.
