
#2 Kirkwood Overpowers Marshalltown
Cedar Rapids, IA- Last night there were four players who scored in double-digits in the game for Kirkwood. Colby Dolphin led all scorers with 14 points off the bench, Traijan Sain had 13 points, and Tyler Netolicky notched his second double-double this season with 11 points and 17 rebounds. Lucas Lueth finished with 10 points to finish out the Eagles double digits scoring. However, there were a couple Eagles kocking on the double digit threshold. Tate Petersen and Trey Smith both finished the game with nine points.
Kirkwood was victorious in the rebound battle, eclipsing the Tigers 52-31 on the glass. The Eagles also grabbed 18 offensive rebounds in the game. Tyler Netolicky had his career high in rebounds with 17, earning a spot on the all-time list for rebounders. Netolicky also grabbed 7 offensive rebounds to add to his impressive rebounding outing. Keauntrey Barnes grabbed 7 rebounds in 6 minutes off the bench.
It was an all-around scoring affair for the Eagles as they had 34 bench points; almost every Kirkwood Eagle scored in tonights game.
The Eagles will start a two game road trip this Saturday facing off against the Southwestern Spartans in Creston at 3:00pm.
