#2 Kirkwood Takes Down Northeast

Cedar Rapids, IA- The Kirkwood Eagles took on the Northeast Hawks on Saturday inside of Johnson Hall in another pivotal ICCAC matchup. The Eagles had 4 players score 10 or more in the game, with Lucas Lueth to leading all scorers, posting his career high in points with 24. Tate Petersen finished with 20 points; Richard Lindsey Jr. achieved his career in points in this game as well, dropping 16 points for the team. Colby Dolphin posted 10 points to finish out the double digits category.

Kirkwood made the most out of the charity stripe finishing the game with 34 attempts and cashing in on 24 of those free throws attempted, finishing 70% overall in the game. Tate Petersen continued his impressive streak, tying his career high, going a perfect 10-10 from the line./

The Eagles found their groove in the game shooting it well from the field and the three-point line. They connected on 50% of the shots from field goal range and 46% of the shots attempted from three-point range.

The Eagles are back in Johnson Hall this Wednesday to face off against the Iowa Western Reivers @ 7:30 PM!
