#5 Kirkwood Posts Victories Over Spoon River & Rock Valley

Canton, IL- Eagles edge Spoon River Snappers Wednesday night to improve to 7-0.

Led by (SO) guard Traijan Sain who finished with 16 points, and 5 rebounds. Lucas Lueth with 12 points, and 2 block shots. Zach Erwin earned his second double-double this season with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Erwin also leads the team in assist with 4.

One of the lower-scoring games for the Eagles this year as they score 64 points, averaging 86.8 PPG. More of a defensive-oriented game as they held the leading scorer to under their average.

Cedar Rapids, IA- Kirkwood Eagles soar past the Rock Valley Eagles at home. 

The Eagles take the win with a balanced scoring outing. Every Eagle but one found themselves in the scoring column. Traijan Sain continued his hot start to the season leading the Eagles with a game-high 15 points. James Spencer followed in scoring with 12 and Zach Erwin finished the double-digit scorers with 10. The bench was strong contributing 30 points.

The stat sheet was stuffed with contributions from everyone. Traijan Sain had eight rebounds followed by Tyler Netolicky with seven to overpower RVC on the boards 34-22. The ball was shared well throughout the contest with 19 assists, five of those from James Spencer. 

Kirkwood's next game comes after Thanksgiving break when they head to Council Bluffs to take on the Iowa Western Reivers on Saturday, November 30th, at 3:00 pm.
