#4 Eagles Win at WIT
Sioux City, IA- The 4th ranked Eagles traveled to Sioux City this past weekend to take on the Western Iowa Tech Comets. Each person who stepped on the court in an Eagle's jersey on Saturday scored in the game. Leading the Eagles in scoring was Lucas Lueth with 12 points. Keauntrey Barnes put up 11 points off of the bench and Tyler Netolicky rounded out the double-digit scorers with 10 points.
Kirkwood's ability to share the ball on Saturday was extremely impressive and a key to their dominating win; the team finished with 18 assists. Germaine Benson led the way for Kirkwood with 4 assists.
The Eagles achieved a season high for rebounds, grabbing 53 boards. They were able to pull down 18 offensive rebounds in the matchup which gave the team multiple opportunities to score. Netolicky led the way in rebounds as he pulled down 9. James Spencer grabbed 8 boards of his own.
The Eagles are back in Johnson Hall this Wednesday to take on the Ellsworth Panthers at 7:30 PM!
