#1 Eagles Stifle Marshalltown at Home
Cedar Rapids, IA- Kirkwood led from start to finish as they defeated Marshalltown 87-26 Saturday afternoon at Johnson Hall.
The Eagles (12-0 / 5-0 ICCAC) led 11-0 before Marshalltown finally scored midway through the first quarter.
Kirkwood would lead 27-1 after a quarter & held a 46-12 advantage at halftime.
All 13 Eagles who played put their name in the scoring column, led by sophomore Zhakyla Evans with 13 points.
Freshman Niaja William also finished in double figures with a career-high 11 points.
Kirkwood held the advantage on the boards as well, as they outrebounded Marshalltown 50-27.
Kirkwood will return to action on Thursday, December 28th as they take on Joilet at the Illinois Central Holiday Classic in Peoria, IL.
