Cassius Brooks led Kirkwood to two solid wins last week -- a two-point win over Elgin (Ill.) and a 15-point win over No. 15 John Wood (Ill.). In three games last week, Brooks averaged 19 points and 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals. He scored a season-high 24 against Elgin and added another 20 against Lake Land (IL) which gave him three 20-point games in a row. Despite not scoring 20 against John Wood, he went 3 for 3 from the field, 1 for 1 from three, and 8 for 8 from the line -- a perfect shooting, 15-point performance. In five games this season Brooks averages 18.4 points on 62% from the field for the Eagles.
