NO.6 KIRKWOOD MEN TOP REIVERS
The sixth-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team raised its record to 12-1 Saturday with a hard-fought 79-60 victory over Iowa Western at Johnson Hall.
Noah King topped the Eagles with 20 points. Cassius Brooks contributed 15 points, nine rebounds, four steals, and two assists.
Ayouba Berthe collected a double-double with 14 points and 12 rebounds.
Kirkwood dominated the backboards, 46-30. Arthur Cox grabbed seven rebounds Marcus Glover and Justin Recker had six apiece. Recker also had four assists and blocked four shots.
Iowa Western fell to 7-5 overall.
