NO.8 KCC MEN CHOP DOWN JOHN WOOD
The eighth-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team turned up the pressure in the second half Wednesday night and topped John Wood College, 71-61, in a non-conference game at Johnson.
The Eagles (9-1) defeated John Wood for the second time this season.
Kirkwood trailed at halftime, 36-32, but the Eagles outscored the visitors by 14 points in the second stanza.
