NO.5 EAGLES TRIPPED BY ELLSWORTH
IOWA FALLS - The fifth-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team lost to Ellsworth, 86-77, in an ICCAC game in Iowa Falls Saturday.
The Eagles fell to 20-5 overall and 8-4 in the conference. Ellsworth lifted its records to 19-6 overall and 8-5 in the league.
Noah King and Cassius Brooks scored 21 points for Kirkwood. Marcus Glover added 12 markers. Arthur Cox grabbed 10 rebounds.
Justin Recker, Kirkwood's second-leading scorer and top rebounder, did not play Saturday.
Shawn Fulcher led Ellsworth with 27 points off the bench. Dior Davis netted 21. Ellsworth dominated the backboards, 49-35.
