Kirkwood's Cassius Brooks is back again this week after a nice scoring outburst for the Eagles. Leading to three victories, Brooks scored 51 points in 89 minutes while adding 13 rebounds and seven steals. Kirkwood took down Spoon River (Ill.), John Wood (Ill.), and Northeast in consecutive games. Brooks had back-to-back 20-point games to start the week. In all, he averaged 17 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 2.3 steals. He did much of his work from the free throw line, making 19 of 24 attempts. Brooks is averaging 16.2 points per game this season.
