NO.8 KCC MEN TRIM NIACC
The eighth-ranked Kirkwood men's basketball team remained undefeated at Johnson Hall Saturday with an exciting 83-76 victory over NIACC in an ICCAC conference game.
Noah King led five Eagles into double figures with 20 points and five rebounds. Justin Reacker collected a double-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and three clutch 3-pointers.
Ayouba Berthe played a strong game with 15 points, eight rebounds, three steals, and two assists. Cassius Brooks contributed 10 points.
Jeremiah Babers led NIACC with 21 points. Myles Tucker, averaging 20 points, ran into early foul trouble and finished with seven points before fouling out.
Kirkwood raised its records to 19-4 overall and 8-3 in the conference. The Eagles are 11-0 at home.
NIACC, which defeated Kirkwood in their first meeting last month in Mason City, fell to 11-14 overall and 3-8 in the league.
